Turley St Park, Fairfield – Update May 2020
The new $108,000 Turley St, Fairfield playground upgrade is complete and includes:
- a net fort with climbing and monkey bars;
- a little slide and a big enclosed slide;
- interactive panels for little people underneath;
- swings (baby, children’s and basket); and
- shade sail and seating.
Turley St Park, Fairfield – Update November 2019
Plans are underway for the new playground at Turley St Park, Fairfield. $108,000 has been allocated for a new playground in the 19/21 Budget.
The old playground was removed two years ago for age and safety reasons, so it’s great news that Council has allocated funds for a replacement.
Thank you to all residents who gave great feedback on the concepts. The plans are available below and include:
- a net fort with climbing and monkey bars;
- a little slide and a big enclosed slide;
- interactive panels for little people underneath;
- swing set, including toddler and basket swings; and
- new shade and seating.
The playground will be updated in the new year.
