I am planning ahead at Gordon Thomson Park, Chelmer to replace the old playground that was removed. Small park projects are funded from the $500,000 Tennyson Ward Suburban Enhancement Fund but Council’s planning and delivery can take more than a year. This sounds like a lot of money, but even small projects easily cost around $200,000 each—that doesn’t go far across the 10 suburbs in Tennyson Ward. Graceville projects recently funded include the ninja warrior course and the dog park upgrade.

I am seeking your feedback on revitalising this former playground area. You can complete the online survey here to have your say.

Survey closes Monday, 30 November.
