Food fun and fellowship from 5:30pm. Carols begin after sunset.

Sunnybank Brass bursts onto the court with a foot-tapping selection of favourite tunes from the jazz greats including some classic tunes from Michael Bublé. They will be joined by popular vocalist Izabella Cihajic so come down and celebrate the joy of big band brass on a summer evening.

Enjoy a FREE outdoor movie in the park screening of the Wes Anderson coming-of-age comedy-drama Moonrise Kingdom at Yeronga Memorial Park on Saturday 18 March. Head along from 5pm for food trucks, a 5:30pm performance from the Queensland Wind Orchestra and movie screening from 7pm. Bring a picnic or purchase something to eat on the night.

Brass Roots Live perform swing and music from the 60s to the 80s featuring Peter Vance and Rachel Pearse. Please note no BYO is permitted at this event. Food and drinks are available to purchase.

Brisbane Excelsior Band perform music from the swing era of Glen Miller and Duke Ellington along with the big brass sounds of popular military marches and troupe favourites. Please note no BYO is permitted at this event. Food and drinks are available to purchase.

Enjoy a FREE outdoor movie in the park screening of family comedy The Bad Guys on the Oxley State School oval on Saturday 29 April. Head along early from 5pm to enjoy some free live music (band TBA). Movie screening from 6:30pm. Bring a picnic or purchase something to eat on the night.

Join your neighbours for the Sherwood Neighbourhood Watch's annual BBQ on Sunday 7 May, 2023 at Strickland Tce Park, Sherwood. Enjoy a sausage sizzle, lawn games and jumping castle for the kids. Chat with community representatives and local Police. A gold coin donation towards food and drinks will be appreciated.
