Join Oxley Neighbourhood Watch and Brisbane City Council at Bands on the Green on Sunday 12 June for a wonderful afternoon of music, food and entertainment at Oxley Bowls Club. Bring a rug and laze on the green as local bands Kate Street Mob and The Cage play a mix of jazz and Ukulele songs. There will also be face painting, a balloon twister and a jumping castle for the kids. So come on down for a great afternoon!

Come along and join Nicole in the Grand Launch of Angela and Her Boys by local author and member of Fairfield Writers Helga Parl - a story about a struggling young Brisbane widow and her second chance at love. Free admission and all welcome! Light refreshments will be served.

A guided journey through the bush tucker garden. Newly-arrived refugee students will develop an understanding of the cultures who have lived on this land and made Brisbane their home for thousands of years.

Stalls and performances by people with refugee backgrounds bring a global feel to the Annerley Junction Jumble Sale, celebrating diversity and the contribution of new arrivals to the local community.
