DESCRIPTION:Household hazardous waste includes everyday products such as bleach\, garden and pool chemicals\, and cleaning solvents that are purchased from the supermarket or hardware store. \nThe following items can be taken to Council transfer stations: \n\naerosols\nbatteries (household and lead acid batteries)\nempty gas bottles (up to 9kg)\nelectronic waste\nfluorescent light bulbs and tubes\npaint\nused mineral engine oil.\n\nItems must remain in their original containers and not be mixed. A 20 litre limit for each chemical or product applies to residents.
