Annerley, Dutton Park and Fairfield residents shouldn’t have to watch as the Metro passes them by! Sign the petition calling on Council to get the Metro to stop at Dutton Park Place bus stop.

Council’s Metro 2 route that replaced the 66 bus currently fails to stop at Dutton Place Bus Station because Council did not upgrade the station to accommodate the new Metro Buses. As a result, there is a significant service gap for Annerley, Fairfield and Dutton Park residents who live within 1km of the bus station and now only have access to limited bus services.

Cr Trina Massey and I have created a petition calling on Brisbane City Council to ensure that the Metro 2 bus route is upgraded and stops at the Dutton Park Bus Station to UQ Lakes to ensure a last kilometre, frequent bus service for Fairfield, Annerley and Dutton Park residents who live within 1-2 kilometres of the University of Queensland on the Southside. Sign the petition online here. Petition closes 31 August, 2025.
