Play Pink Stumps Day your way. Choose to sit back and watch some serious cricket on the main Graceville pitch, or indulge in some breakfast and a coffee, grab some cricket skills tips at the Workshop, have some fun with a bit of Park Cricket, or bid up big on the Pink Stuff Silent Auction.
You can take it easy, or go hard and have a crack at the lot!

The Feature
Wests vs Sandgate-Redcliffe
Women’s Queensland Premier First Grade Cricket
Wests girls took on Sandgate-Redcliffe only a couple of weeks ago in the final of the Queensland Cricket Premier T20 competition, and Wests came away with a strong win. Wests will be looking for back-to-back wins and Sandgate-Redcliffe will be trying to turn the tables in this limited overs game.Grace Harris has been firing for Wests lately with a two quickfire centuries in four weeks, Josie Dooley has knocked a half century and Holly Ferling, Ash Sims and Meagan Dixon have taken 3 wicket hauls. For Sandgate-Redcliffe Beth Mooney also recently laid on a pair of centuries, Jemma Barsby scored a half century and Lauren Shackleton has snared one 5 wicket and two 3 wicket bags.
So we’re looking forward to another titanic contest on Feb 25th!
Park Cricket
Kids both young and old love a casual game of park cricket! So come along with your friends and show off your doosra or swat a six or two!
We’ll have Graceville 2 oval set up will several fun games so you can choose the one that’s the best fit for your style. We’ll cater for all ages and skill levels. Don’t worry if you haven’t played much cricket before – this is your chance to give it a go!
The Workshop
Experienced coaches will be on hand to impart some cricketing wisdom for our Cricket Workshop. For a bargain fee of $20 per half hour, they’ll provide one on one instruction to help you improve your cut, pull, googly, topspinner, outswinger or just work on keeping those yorkers out! Walk-up slots may be available, but to avoid disappointment, please pre-book your session using the link below! |

What better way to start a lazy Sunday than a quiet morning down at the park watching the cricket with a cappuccino or a hot tea in one hand and one of West’s famous bacon and egg rolls in the other? Or perhaps you’d prefer a juice and some fresh fruit? There will be plenty of good food regardless of your taste, so why not plan to have a Pink Stumps Day breakfast?
The regular club canteen will also be open after midday for lunch, drinks and snacks.
