You can view my submission regarding the proposed changes to Brisbane’s bus network here.

If you rely on a Council bus service it is critical that you check out the changes to bus services proposed by the Lord Mayor as part of his big bendy bus project, the $1.8billion Brisbane Metro. There are major changes proposed to buses in almost all suburbs. I welcome feedback from residents about how you may be affected by these changes.

Some of the key changes in Tennyson Ward include:

  • 105 and 108 services are being amalgamated
  • 105 will be truncated at the PA Hospital and will no longer travel through Yeronga
  • 107 becomes an all-day city service that starts in Yeerongpilly instead of Indooroopilly
  • 192 City to UQ service will be extended through Yeronga to Yeerongpilly
  • Multiple changes to Ipswich Rd corridor service routes and destination
  • There do not appear to be any changes to the 100, 102, 104, 106, 196 Buz routes

What’s missing?

  • additional night and weekend services
  • no new Buz services
  • no direct bus service between Yeronga and Indooroopilly
  • bus options for Oxley residents

You can view further information on the proposed changes on the Brisbane City Council website here which includes an online interactive map.
