For many years Yeronga and parts of Fairfield have suffered from localised flooding due to inadequate stormwater drainage. More than a decade ago Council identified the problem but has failed to invest in much needed infrastructure improvements. Improvements are still up to 20 years away. I don’t believe this is a reasonable time to wait to fix known flooding problems. Noted below is some further information about these drainage issues and petition I encourage you to sign.
