Works to install shade sails over the playground in Tom O’Neill Park, Oxley are due for completion by the end of April as part of Council’s Sun Safe Suburban Playgrounds programme.
Shade sails are also on the way for the playgrounds in Jacaranda Park, Yeronga and Hives Park, Sherwood with installation works scheduled to take place during May, weather and site conditions permitting.
This follows installation of shade sails at Nixon Park, Oxley; Ed Kuepper Park, Oxley and Robinson Park, Fairfield.
